Question by Mr Grean Jeans: do some businesses incorprate cult type brain washing and practices?
I was watching the news one night about wall mart and in the upper mangagment and in the inner workings of that business seemed or gave me this cult feeling
im not talking about on the retail level with their sales stock and clerks
it was like a combonation of what motivational speakers use to get everyone pumped up about an idea and mayby brain washing it seems sales sales sales no matter what the cost
does this seem this way to you and do you know of any other business like this using these tactics
some businesses however you spell it to late now

I found out what I would like to do as far as a job/career is concerned….I think….anyway,.lately after doing some “soul searching” I have decided that I would LOVE to do reiki healing because well..i like the idea of being able to help/heal people and it to me it just feels like something good for me to do…I am also interested in learning crystal therapy, aromatherapy,energy,meditation, chakras,massage, etc. I would love to do something with alternative medicine/healing maybe…maybe teach yoga or become a motivational speaker? I am interested in becoming some kind of metaphysical therapist/spiritual healer/teacher/psychologist/intuitive/ whatever else they are called…has anyone heard of or has tried any of the things I have listed that interest me? Is there a school I can go to to learn all of this stuff? I was thinking about transferring to University of North Carolina at Ashville….any help/advice/info. would be greatly appreciated!

Our moms have 20+ jobs at once: A parent, cook, housekeeper, teacher, nurse, handyperson, maid, security, coordinator, supervisor, manager, secretary, nutritionist, caretaker, personal assistant, life coach, bookkeeper, laundrymaid, and a motivational speaker. They don’t get paid, holidays, sick pay, or days off. They …are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I challenge any brother to come even close to this!

you’ve probably have seen this kind of question from a greedy teenager a thousand times but i need some new ideas and i am extremley motivated to get this and its worth it
it’s for a DC trip our school has. 2,000 dollars is needed by January 14th.
the trip gives us everything so i dont blame it’s expensiveness..
i’m hoping to earn more for souviners etc. 600 dollars every 3 months i think?

the ideas i have so far are:
-yard work
-babysitting (need cpr classes)
-tutor
-help with moving (i have a neighbor moving soon)
-^^clean house after they move
-house sitting
-pet sitting
-sell cookies etc
-sell homegrown vegtables and plants
-dog walking
-washing cars (car comes to my house)
-help set up facebooks and social networking sites (for the “confused” haha)
-eBay selling
-plato’s closet (sell some clothes)
-lemonade stand (i made 100$ in one day. woo!)
-buy pencils sell to kids at school (yeah, people at my school are like that)
-buy sillicone bracelets sell at school (its definatley possible)
-buy gum, sell at school (my school LOVES gum haa)
-my sister makes these hemp bracelets i think and i buy it from her for 3$ and i sell them for 5$ (hemp is expensive..)
-grocery shopping for people
-do work around my house
-stepdad is a motivational speaker he has alot of jobs to do
-make a book (?)
