Business professionals are the target audience of business speakers. Their main job is to inform and motivate individuals in the business field. There is a very high demand for speakers in this genre. Businesses are on the lookout for ways to keep their employees trained and motivated. Question by KCspeaker: Any example of where a speaker has incorporated music or a song into their presentation to make it great?
I’m writing an article on how to work in music into a speech or presentation in order to make the message really stick. I’m looking for a few exmples of where speakers (in business or otherwise) have used music. What point were they trying to get across? Thanks!

Great public speakers are able to inspire and teach. They can take a message and sprinkle in humor and wise words. Over the years there have been many great orators. These individuals can make you think about your life, those around you and any number of issues that are going on in the world. Many of these individuals use their abilities to help spread the word on social and economic issues that affect everyone.
To be a truly wonderful public speaker, you will need to understand how to bring people to a common understanding. You do not want to be too inflammatory in your speech. The idea is to make everyone understand your point in a civil manner before you inundate them with rhetoric. In a good speech an individual can take an anecdote or story and use it as an example. The story they tell acts as any example to those in their audience.

Question by lanvinette: What’s a great “token of thanks” for this speaker we have for our college leadership event?
The event is somewhat business oriented so maybe the suggestion could be generally appreciated by the people in the corporate world.

Here are some words from a professional network marketer.Tonight I’ve listened to a great speaker.John Stettler came to Stockholm, Sweden for leadership training. It was so good!He brought two companions as well. One is a senior marketing director and the other also a marketing director. They are in charge of the Nordic countries and Uk and Germany. They told us of what is happening in general with the company, Xango. Also about the business of network marketing. It is booming. Both Xango and networking business. It is a great timing to be there.Do you know that in US of all the business revenue 50% is coming from home based/small business?Turnover in US of network marketing business is billion and in the whole world is $ 100 billion! It’s amazing and it is growing. The new signed up per week are now up to 475000 persons around the world.Good quotes for tonight I also picked up.Like, if you never give up- it is never over!It is not lost- you have not just found it!Thank God for education and training. It is so important for you, yourself. Good to refill you with motivation, enthusiasm and more knowledge.Spread it to your down line as well. What is a leader? The leader holds the belief of the team, in the company and in the individual person.Leaders stay in action in daily activities and continue recruiting. Why? Like all big companies that are looking for new blood in the organization to create strength.New people are the life plug. They are the most excited people in the business. They bring in new dreams. What else do leaders do?The speed of the leader determines the speed of the pack.So are you a leader set the pace!Focus on the leading edge where the newly recruited are placed. The leaders communicate to both up lines and down lines. You ask for information upwards and support and motivate downwards. Finally when you pitch a prospect think in F O R M.F= family, how do they want to bring up the kids, spouse future?O= occupation, are you satisfied with your job?R= how would you like to spend your holidays?M= bring the message to them. Show them the opportunity.Everybody has dreams, talk about lifestyle and be enthusiastic.Go and get them!

How many home based business opportunities have you tried?
Unless you’re the new kid on the block, you’ve probably tried several. I know I have. I tried selling soap (you all know that one), vitamins, online detective software, cheap long distance, cell phones, credit cards, term life insurance, and more.
Well, you probably get the point. There are a lot of opportunities out there. And, it’s not bad to gain experience with several of them.

When I was a little girl – almost too long ago to recall – I remember my teacher asking me what I wanted to be when I grew up. My reply without hesitation was, “Sunday school teacher.” She must have been a little too taken aback to reply as I can’t seem to recall what she had to say to that.
Don’t ask me why I said that, perhaps my naïve mind was thinking, “Cool, I only need to work on Sundays!” Anyway, I never became a Sunday school teacher or even teacher, but instead became an Editor for a women’s magazine for nine years and today, I “teach” adults on a variety of topics from image and grooming to how one can design their life – my absolute passion.

Most people believe that greatness is an esoteric, elusive, God like feature that only the special among us will ever taste. They rarely realize that greatness is something that lies within each and everyone.
This explains the reason why most people don’t think that they can be inspirational leaders and influence those around them. Truth is anyone can be inspirational if they believe in the cause and in themselves.
The first step before anyone else believes it is you have to believe it, you cannot inspire other people before your are inspired by the cause or goal you intend to inspire them with. If you do not believe in your cause and yourself you will not have the necessary determination to push through the challenges that you will face in the future.
But if you believe then you can achieve, your words will have the necessary power to evoke and awaken an emotional response in the hearts of your listeners. They will be able to make your listeners realize that they too can be great, they too can achieve and live their dreams.
There are inspirational speakers all around us in society e.g. parents or guardians are usually the most common inspirational icons around us because they are the first people we believe, their words can help a troubled son or daughter to reform from their destructive path an take the first step to greatness. Preachers and priests are also inspirational icons, their sermons can cause people to change from bad to good, e.g. a sermon about alcoholism might cause an alcoholic in the congregation to give up drinking and become a better person.Teachers are also inspirational icons, be it in kindergarten, grade school, high school or collage they challenge us to be greater than who we already are, the same goes for coaches when it comes to sports.
An inspirational speaker touches your imagination, because as the wise Mike Melville said

appearance in a silly movie about a shallow person being totally mesmerized by him into seeing a really fat chick as a slim and trim babe? Norman Vincent Peal was a great inspirational speaker and lifted the spirit of his audience, but Tony Robbins is a figment of his own imagination in my observed opinion!
