Bob sat down to dial the phone at the place he once worked and thrived. It had been three years since his last stint, but after a call or two, he fell right back into his groove.

It was as if nothing had changed. He simply offered his “We have it, you want it?” appeal, expecting he’d harvest his traditional bounty of sales.

Instead, he seemed to be bouncing off an invisible barrier.

Today’s modern school facilities demand modern bell systems that are reliable, equipped with flexible schedules and synchronized with the school clock system.  New wireless bell systems fulfill those requirements and are proven to be a great solution in each of the following situations:

New Bell System Installation –A wireless bell system utilizes an array of wireless PA speakers to generate bell tones and alerts according to pre-defined schedules running on the main wireless system controller. The main wireless system controller can handle multiple schedules that can easily be selected to match the school’s needs. Each wireless PA speaker simply needs an AC outlet to operate. The wireless speakers can be added or moved at any time during or after installation to improve bell signal coverage. These wireless speakers are easily able to change to different locations because there are no cables to worry about. Installing a wireless bell system is an economically-effective idea by eliminating the costly labor of running wires throughout the facility. With a wireless bell system, you are also expanding your options for your bell system’s tones and sounds. Read the rest of this entry

I have a hobby, it’s called “door-kicking”. It’s a little like “tyre-kicking” but it doesn’t involve cars, it involves houses. When I’m not following my twin passions of motivational speaking and sales training, I love looking around houses… show-houses, old houses, new houses, penthouse flats, country cottages, farms… anything really. You could say that I am an estate agent’s nightmare but then I have bought every house I have ever owned when I was on a “door-kicking” outing.

Anyway, last month I was looking around a house without any serious intention and I loved it. Infact, I loved it so much that I negotiated with the seller then and there and put an offer in. She accepted and my Sunday afternoon jolly had just become a house buying trip! Next day, I contacted one of the well-known national estate agencies and asked them to come around to value my house which they did. The estate agent was polite, efficient and courteous. He valued the house at what I thought was a realistic price in the current market and told me how they operate. It sounded fine so I asked what the market was like at the moment in the local area. He said that it was picking up, that houses were moving again and that he should have no problem selling my house.

One of the central objectives when a company or business decides to hire a professional speaker is to reinvigorate the team and install a new found verve and energy. Quite frequently, you will find that a team or group will develop a resigned demeanour or will be stuck in the doldrums, unable to get inspired and motivated the way they use to. This is not unusual, though it can have unfortunate repercussions for a business. Many times in these cases the employees feel like they have reached a level they cannot surpass. The best way to give them a new lease on work is to bring in motivational speakers who will reignite their passion and purpose.

Generally speaking, professional speakers are expert in an area and has proven themselves adept at navigating the particular issues inherent. Keynote speakers can make an audience see their job and their life afresh, are able to put an interesting and new spin on what might have become tired and old hat.

Speakers for Leadership Meets

Whenever you have leadership meetings you need to have the right kind of speakers. Unless you have keynote speakers who know what they are talking about and can get their message across then the whole meeting is a waste of time. Professional speakers are usually good communicators, but since each leadership speaker has their strengths and weaknesses you need to find someone who is experienced in the topic that you are interested in.

Contacting a speaker’s bureau is one of the best ways to ensure you get the right leadership speakers or motivational speakers. A professional speaker often majors in one or two topics, so you need to find out just what his or her strengths are before hiring. It is no use hiring a marketing speaker if you really want a motivational speaker. Finding out what each speaker does is therefore of great importance.

The Dress Code for the Professional Speaker

As a professional speaker, you will have to abide by a dress code.  It’s simple; dress well all the time.

Now this doesn’t mean that you have to constantly go around in a suit and a tie everywhere you go.  But, it does mean that you need to dress business casual at the very least.  Being groomed, clean, and smelling good are absolute basics.  Make sure you look good whenever you go out.

It’s a fact that how people perceive you will make a difference in how you’re treated.  When you dress well you will receive better treatment.  You will get better service from wait staff.  When you are traveling, you’ll get better upgrades for hotel rooms or rental vehicles.  Even in public areas like elevators, the person who is dressed well is treated with greater respect and given a higher esteem.
