Life training

Life training is a practice with the aim of helping clients determine and achieve personal goals. Life coaches use multiple techniques which will help clients with the process of setting and reaching goals. Coaching isn’t focused at psychological illness and coaches are neither therapists nor experts.

Life training has its roots in executive training, which itself drew on systems developed in management consulting and leadership training.[citation needed] Life training also draws inspiration from disciplines including sociology, psychology, positive adult development, career support, mentoring and other types of counseling. Recent life training may also be traced to the teaching of Benjamin Karter, a college football coach turned inspirational spokesman of the late seventies and early eighties. The coach may apply mentoring, values assessment, behaviour modification, behaviour modeling, goal-setting and other methodologies in helping their clients.

5. What sorts of goals should people set?

I would urge people to think big and set long-term goals that excite them, without worrying at first about how they are going to get there. It really is a shame when people limit their lives by telling themselves that what they really want isn’t realistic. The only way to find out what’s realistic is to go for it.

As an author, sales motivational speaker and sales force development consultant it is very important that I walk the talk and continue to learn and develop myself. One activity which I am always recommending to clients, friends and everyone alike is to keep reading new, old and interesting ideas to keep yourself stimulated and on top of your game. My personal favourite subjects for reading about are personal development, sales training, sales force development, motivation and mindset, general business and marketing.

Nowadays I read a lot of blogs and am subscribed to several via RSS feeds. One blog which I read regularly is Trish Jones’ blog. She recently posted two interesting posts on blogging as a sales tool and whether blogging can sell services or just products.

Atheists, do you ever weep for the World?

Seriously,

I live in the “Bible Belt” and am an ex-Christian, because of my education.

When I look around and see a church on every corner and see the masses of people simply herding themselves like cattle – never questioning their faith – never really understanding their Bible or religion… Never daring to question the legitimacy of their experience…

I mean – I am an Atheist and I know ten times more about the Bible than 95% of Christians out there.

My Friend, your success event is directly proportional to the selection of a keynote speaker in almost your entire business gathering.
Let us take the 3 most important aspect in your business: d) Sales Meeting – The essence of this meeting is motivation and product knowledge which directly determines your success. Each and every individual is tuned in to get the external motivation that actually evokes his internal motivation. First, it is highly imperative to ask ourselves why and where we want to go ahead in the professional path. Here lies the importance of tapping the subconscious desire and later the proper plan in order to accomplish those goals. As a professional, everyone should be acutely aware of the diverse requirements of the individual and the market as a whole which is highly competitive in the global sense. Here you must be careful enough to touch only those points which would only fuel their desire to accelerate. Any vague selection of phrase or an innate topic might deter them from the path. You are not a motivational speaker but a speaker and you do have the responsibility to speak from your heart in order to touch their heart.
e) Negotiation – A meeting provides not only motivation but some witty instructions to fly you off the ground and start floating in the higher level. Your role here is as of a keynote speaker who will motivate and at the same time convince anyone sitting on the opposite whatever he has in his mind and brain. In other words, he won’t let others decide what he was supposed to do rather he would be compelled to think the way you are moving towards and that too with pleasure. It’s not a one day game – rather it’s a firmly knit game plan.
f) Closing – Some of you who are members of the Speakers bureau might think it in a different way but this is the ultimate goal of any businessman after so much of professional touch in his speaking. Nothing to lose so nothing to hide or beat around the bush. At this point of time, it’s only about conversion. The process needs to be executed and the order has to be generated. No matter what the other person things about you, just break all the shackles and get it done.

Motivational Keynote Speaker Tips

A better start makes half a better conclusion, it is said. As in all cases, this assertion applies to motivational speaking overly. A keynote address is an address that is delivered at the start of a significant case, starting it away. A keynote address sets the color for a case; a better keynote address enhances the case. A motivational keynote speaker is an individual who ensures that the case is an unforgettable one, with his keynote address paving the manner for the case’s success.

A motivational keynote speaker mostly starts the proceeding for a role, be it a league, convocation or a political propaganda. He must guarantee that his address gets the audience upward and involves them in the remainder of the case. In most cases, a better keynote address bodes a productive streak for the case. This makes the keynote motivational speaker one of the almost significant entities in the case.
